There is nothing more important than spending time with people you love. This past Thanksgiving, I traveled to Louisiana and Mississippi to be with my family, it was a great time! We also visited a few of my children's close friends from high school which was a special treat. We even attended an LSU football game, which for me was long overdue and a great memory to share with my grandsons.
It's easy to travel home, it's hard to visit everyone I'd love to see. I always wish I could stay longer and visit each one of you. When you have lived and worked in a town for 35 years, you make friends and memories and I cherish them all. Plus, I miss all the yummy food! I have so many wonderful memories with so many people. That's what life is about, right, family, friends and making memories. Well, each of you have a special place in my heart. So, lookout, I may be knocking on your door next.
Before I left Texas, I posted on social media I was passing through and had books should anyone need an extra Christmas gift. I have to say, you are all so wonderful. Your love and support meant the world to me. You actually encourage me to keep my author dream alive. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Our visit was another treasured memory.
Well, I was on a timeline to return to Texas and participate in the Wylie Art Festival again this year. The festival was great, the weather was perfect, and attendees seemed to have a fun time. I am beginning to feel more at home, making great connections, and Texas memories.
So, until we meet again, I wish Everyone a wonderful and memorable Christmas!!!
